We first started using the on campus network at the dawn of the Internet age to establish our name as the definitive brand in study abroad and it worked. Over the years former students have become clients and those “Expose yourself to the world” posters get mentioned time and time again.
I’ve re-entered the field in a new venture and 20 years later I am ready to add posters to our mix to establish our new brand and message.
Could you pass to the reps my/our thanks for their efforts this spring. We are seeing a large number of the green postcards in addition to the originals – in fact in recent weeks we are seeing more green than blue. In any event they are clearly working hard to keep us up on campuses across the country and we are most appreciative.
Air-Tech began in January 1994. When we first opened we rally had no idea houw to reach the millions of college students that would be interested in our cheap $169 dollar fares to Europe. Through a business contact I heard about OCP and I spoke to Lita about our needs. She put together a budget and a marketing plan that made a lot of sense to a new company seeking direction. She helped us identify the areas that would get the best response and by May 1994 our small five line phone system couldn’t handle all the inquiries of our first season was a success, we recorded sales of almost 1,000,000 dollars. Our secon season we doubled that and by the end of 1996 we had recorded sales of nearly 3,000,000 dollars. OCP’s part in our success can not be underestimated. Our postering campaign was always thorough and well followed up, in short once those guys got to work the phone never stopped ringing. Today, thanks to OCP Air-Tech is a strong viable business. We have doubled our office space, and yes we now have enough phone lines to handle to excellent results of OCP’s work.
As a provider of an international educational experience to college and university undergraduates,
the Institute For Shipboard Education seeks to inform student on a national scale about its Semester as Sea program.
